Awesome Hotness...

I kid you not every time I shoot here two things are guaranteed: First, it's no doubt going to be the hottest day of the year. There's only two spots i've been where my camera instantly fogs up because it's so blamin' hot. India....And the Danada House in Wheaton IL. No joke. Secondly, I know I'm going to absolutely LOVE the shoot! Sure the grounds here are stunning and there's endless opportunities for ridiculously beautiful pics but what really did it for me was this group of people. High heels...Suits...didn't matter it was triple digits and they were up for anything. Weddings this fun are as rare as the fog on my camera lens. (:

Baby Boards!

 Me and post-it notes get along really well. Primarily because I can jot down all my random ideas no matter where I'm at. So I have notes in my purse, by my bed, my briefcase, coffee table, car, bathroom, just kidding wanted to see how well you guys actually read this thing. (: Since I don't have a studio space I came up with an alternative. Bring a studio to you. Thus, my creation of what I call baby boards! Not the catchiest of names but I love that my idea is no longer mearly on a post-it note it's reality and I finally got to use it on my nephew Jazz. I have quite a few of these things and am pretty stoked to use em. ( :

Cute Couple...Check. Cute Wedding...Check.

Yes...I am that girl. The one with an ever updated to-do list and color coordinated calendar. the one that will purposely add something to the list just so she can scratch it off. Yeah...me. I'm not ashamed. And neither is my bride Robin. We're organized...Detail oriented...And proud of it! (: 

If there's ever a time that this will work to our favor it's with weddings. Robin had everything just right. From an unbelievable time frame to her personalized touches done at just the right moment. This couple makes my overly-organized heart happy. Congrats guys!!

Goodbye Trolly...Hello Beautiful...

I'd first like to give a shout out to the trolly driver who took forever coming back to pick up my bride & groom. No, seriously...Thank you. Your delay enabled me to have time to play with ideas and have my mind blown with how crazy beautiful my bride and groom are. Can't say much else than Ridiculous...Gorgeous...Love. 

My Sister Had a Baby!!

So... You may say we cut it a little close... Considering my previous post was my sister's preggo pics and the next post is of the baby, "Jazz!" I like to call him (yes! I finally know the gender!) "baby Jazz" that may not work out so well when he's 15 but I can't help it, he's so cute! Again, I don't know if it's because it's my sister or what, but I feel a special thrill with this aunt-ship. They live not too far and I won't have to wait for the milestones to get my nephew cuddle time. Sigh...Love this kid!

My Sister's Having a Baaaby....

My sister's having a baaaaaby! 

With under a month to go we spent a little time last week taking some fun preggo pics.  I don't know if it's just more fun because we can do more funky stuff because I obviously know my sister or if it's more fun because it's Liz. She cracks me up! We did a sequence of I don't even know how many pictures and she busted out the craziest of poses. One being the one below.
